Explore the largest zoo in Texas (106 acres!) with this free Dallas Zoo app. It’ll greatly enhance your next visit to the Zoo, from anteaters to zebras. Or explore it before you come to make the most of your visit and learn about conservation.
The Home page offers everything you need to know to plan your visit: hours, prices, and parking. On a simple, clean pulldown menu, you’ll find directions, a link to buy tickets and avoid the lines; and a daily schedule of activities.
A separate interactive map for each half of the Zoo, overlaid onto Google Maps, includes quick links to the important things: where to find your favorite animal, restaurants, bathrooms, shortcuts and more.
Meet Our Animals pages reveal information about our thousands of residents, including their conservation status and fun facts that you can whip out at your next trivia night.
You’ll also find links to a Friend Finder, so your group can split up and still be able to find each other; details on becoming a member; and shortcuts to the Zoo’s social media pages.
