An effort to anonymously crowdsource the location of the UT shuttles.
UT Buses is a simple Waze like app for crowdsourcing the location of the UT shuttles.
To share the location of the bus with everyone, all you have to do is tap the button when you get on the bus. The app doesn't track your location in the background so it doesn't waste battery. Instead, it just verifies your location when you share that you got on the bus.
Because the app verifies your location, location access is required when the app is running.
UT Buses only supports the West Campus bus right now, but the source is available on Github so feel free to send in a pull request.
All user generated data is completely anonymous.
