wayGoo @ASF is a fully functional application created to perform immersive outdoor and indoor navigation in order to enhance users’ experience during their visit at Athens Science Festival. Modern society is technology driven, thus there is an augmented need for accurate information and guidance. The application aims to import aspects of high technology in the ordinary life in order to facilitate it. Main functionalities include general information and guidance. The destination space is selected based on exhibitors’ name and space code. A seamless rooting is provided from an outdoor location to the selected indoor space. When outdoor navigation is complete, transition to the indoor space is performed. The application also supports change of floors and the transition between them.
